Palace fumes over Robredo daughters' tweets; OVP asks why spend time on this.
MANILA — Malacañang on Thursday condemned the tweets of Vice President Leni Robredo's girls purportedly reprimanding President Rodrigo Duterte, provoking her office to inquire as to why the public authority decides to invest its energy on this regardless of the outcome of a dangerous hurricane.
Official Spokesperson Harry Roque, in his press instructions, was approached to clarify Duterte's Monday bogus case that Robredo never really address the tropical storm and engendered the viral hashtag #NasaanAngPangulo or where is the President.
Roque noticed Robredo's overnight tweets giving reports on salvage tasks for inhabitants of Cagayan Valley locale, who were caught on their housetops by seething floods. "Mali naman iyong impression na ibinigay natin na kung hindi dahil kay Vice President, baka hindi gum law itong mga into—Hindi po," he told journalists.
(The impression given wasn't right, that the public authority would not have moved notwithstanding Robredo.)
Roque said those near Robredo got some information about the whereabouts of the President. He said Robredo's girl Tricia asked, "Tulog dad rin? Oh dear otso na" (Still sleeping? It's as of now 8 a.m.) and that her sister Aika answered "Sabado e. End of the week" (It's Saturday, an end of the week)
Robredo's representative Barry Gutierrez said that the tempest slaughtered at any rate 69 individuals, uprooted 325,000 others, and left billions in harm.
"Also, this organization is presently investing it's energy breaking down TWEETS by VP Leni's girls?! Si VP Leni shy away matured Tabaha. Kayo tat long bolt na into dad rin ang hennas. Sino annoy uli ang namumulitika?" he tweeted.
(VP Leni got back to work right away. It has been 3 days, however you are as yet discussing this. Who is politicking? Robredo had said pundits could check her Twitter record to confirm that she never asked about the President's whereabouts.
"Bakit ako maghahanap na busyng-occupied na nga tayo sa pagtulong at pagsagot sa mga trouble calls?" she said in an opportunity meet.
(For what reason would I search for him where I was caught up with aiding and noting trouble calls.)
